Hugs 4 Christ (H4C) will join the rest of the world In giving out free hugs this Sunday, 16 September in Windhoek.H4C

The Windhoek-based free hugs group will join 22 other countries in spreading love through a simple hug this weekend. H4C members will get together at Wernhil Park at 11:00 and serenade shoppers and the general public with free hugs.

The World March of Free Hugs will take place in nearly 80 towns and cities across the globe. H4C partnered with Italian free hugs group, Abbracci gratis italia free hugs to make the event a possibility. The Italian group will organise the international event, while H4C will take control of the event in Windhoek.

This will be the first international free hugs event and the organisers hopes it will be a success. Co-Founder of Hugs 4 Christ, Barry de Klerk says it is an honour and privilege to share some love with the people of Windhoek and have the rest of the world back them.

Barry says the most important part of the event is to share with people the fact that Jesus loves them too. He says he hopes that many volunteers will show up to share their love with their neighbours.
